Swiss Relocation Agency

Privacy policy

What happens to the information you send through the form on swissrelocationagency.com, who receives it, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights.

Updated 1 November 2026

This policy follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP, nLPD) and its ordinance (DPO, OPDo).

Controller

Gameover Sàrl, Boulevard Georges-Favon 26, 1204 Genève, Switzerland. Full contact details are in the legal notice.

Purpose

Your data is used for one thing: understanding your request and passing it to the relocation company in Switzerland that matches it, so that it can contact you and make its proposal. It is never sold or used for marketing.

Form data

  • your situation (individual, family or company) and the services you need;
  • your nationality, as EU/EFTA, third country or unknown, and your country of departure;
  • the canton or city you are heading for, your planned arrival date and the size of your household;
  • your message;
  • your first name, last name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number;
  • context data: the page and language the request was sent from, and where the visit came from (campaign parameters, previous page).

Please put no sensitive data in your message (health, religion, criminal proceedings): it is not needed to route your request.

Technical data

The server keeps technical data in its logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) to keep the site secure. The form keeps a fingerprint of the IP address, never the address itself, to limit abusive submissions.

Audience measurement, when enabled, uses Umami without cookies: it counts visits in aggregate and identifies no one. The site sets no tracking or advertising cookies.

Recipients

  • the request management tool of Gameover Sàrl, where your request is recorded and followed up; a backup copy is kept on the site's server;
  • the relocation company selected for your request, which receives it in order to contact you; if you then work with it, it processes your data under its own responsibility.

You send the form and agree to the transfer: processing is based on that consent and on the pre-contractual steps you ask for. Technical logs are based on the interest in keeping the site secure.

Retention

Data Period
Request (contact details and description) 12 months after the last exchange, unless a relationship is ongoing
Backup copy on the site's server until the transfer has been checked, then deleted
Technical logs period set by the hosting provider

Hosting and transfers

The site is hosted by o2switch SAS (Clermont-Ferrand, France), in a country whose data protection is recognised as adequate by the Swiss ordinance. No data is transferred to a country without adequate protection.

Security

Exchanges are encrypted (HTTPS), access is limited to the people who handle requests, and the form's configuration file is never published. In the event of a security breach with a high risk, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) is notified (FADP art. 24).

Your rights

You may ask for access to your data (FADP art. 25), its correction, its deletion, its delivery in a common format (FADP art. 28), and object to its processing. Write to Gameover Sàrl at the address in the legal notice. You may also contact the FDPIC.

Changes

This policy may change with the law or the service. The version in force is the one published on the site.
